The Mankato Family YMCA is excited to announce its 64th Annual Corn Roast & 150 Years Celebration, an event that promises to be a highlight of the summer! Join us on August 19th from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Mankato Family YMCA for an evening of fun, food, and community spirit.
This year’s event is proudly sponsored by Mankato Motors and marks a significant milestone, celebrating both our annual corn roast and the YMCA’s 150-year commitment to serving the Mankato community. The Corn Roast is a beloved tradition that brings together families, friends, and neighbors for an evening filled with delicious roasted corn, engaging activities, and more.
The Y will be serving hot dogs, chips, drinks, desserts and of course, all you can eat sweet corn in the Blue Gym. There will also be family activities available in the Red Gym and staff will be available for facility tours for anyone who is interested. Guests can also enter to win one of a handful of exciting raffle prizes, one of which is a free one-year YMCA membership!
The Y will also have a 150 Years Ribbon Cutting ceremony with Greater Mankato Growth at 3:45pm. All are welcome to join us.
The Corn Roast supports the quality programs at the YMCA for people in our community. Tickets can be purchased online at https://tinyurl.com/YCornRoast2024, at the YMCA front desk or at the event on August 19th. Adult tickets are $10 and children (ages 3 – 11) are $5. Cash and card will be accepted.
