YMCA Thanksgiving Hours: Extra Trimmings

Thanksgiving is a time for family, gratitude, and, of course, delicious food. But before diving into the feast, why not start your day with a refreshing workout to feel energized and ready for the festivities? The Mankato Family YMCA has you covered with a special lineup of FREE Thanksgiving morning classes, open to the public with a donation to the Echo Food Shelf. Here’s a rundown of what’s happening on Thursday, November 28th:

Thanksgiving Day Hours
The YMCA will be open from 7 am to 11 am, providing you with a perfect opportunity to get in a workout before your Thanksgiving celebrations. The Wellness Center, Blue Gym, and Locker Rooms will all be available during these hours, though please note that all aquatic facilities will be closed for the day.

Child Watch Services
Bringing the family? The Y’s Child Watch service will be open from 8 am to 11 am. This means you can focus on your workout while the little ones are taken care of in a safe, fun environment.

Class Schedule: Shed Some Sweat Before You Feast!
Thanksgiving morning at the Y is all about choice! Pick from a variety of energizing group classes across three different studios, all designed to help you get moving and feel great. Here’s the schedule:

Aerobics Studio
7:15 – 7:45 am: Les Mills Tone with Allison
7:50 – 8:20 am: Les Mills Pilates with Allison
8:30 – 9:15 am: Wobble Before You Gobble HIIT with Leah
9:30 – 10:30 am: BODYPUMPâ„¢ with Katie

Yoga Studio
9:00 – 10:00 am: Mindful Yoga with Ben

Cycling Studio
7:15 – 8:00 am: Cycle with Amanda
9:00 – 9:45 am: Cycle with Sandy

How to Join
This Thanksgiving event is open to the public! Just bring a donation for the Echo Food Shelf as your entry fee. If you’re not a member, remember to bring an ID and sign in at the front desk.
