Get Moving with the Mankato Family YMCA’s 150-Minute Holiday Hustle Challenge!

 

It’s our third and final 150 Fitness Challenge of the year.  Running from November 25 through December 31, this challenge celebrates the YMCA’s 150 years of fostering health and community with a goal to keep you moving throughout the holidays.

Challenge Details
The goal? Complete at least 150 minutes of exercise per week at the Y. Spread it across at least three days each week – you choose your activity! Whether you prefer working out on machines in the Wellness Center, lifting weights in the Y-Fit Gym, or participating in group fitness classes, every minute counts.

TIP: Staying on track is easier with a plan. Set small, realistic goals each week and schedule your workouts in advance. By creating a consistent routine, you’ll feel energized and ready for all the holiday festivities.

Bonus Challenge:
Want an extra boost? Add a 10-minute warm-up and cooldown to one of your workouts each week. This extra time not only prepares your body for exercise but also enhances recovery, helping you feel your best.

Tracking Your Progress
Stay accountable by logging your workouts! You can use the YMCA’s mobile app or pick up a tracking card at the Wellness Center desk to record each session. Track your progress and work toward completing 150 minutes each week for the full duration of the challenge.

Complete the Challenge and Earn a Reward!
Members who complete the 150-Minute Holiday Hustle will receive a special reward to celebrate their achievement and dedication.
