MANKATO – As part of its ongoing commitment to fostering community support and engagement, the Mankato Family YMCA is thrilled to announce its Second Annual YMCA Day of Giving on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024. This one-day philanthropic extravaganza aims to rally community members around the shared goal of supporting vital YMCA programs and initiatives.

With a target of 150 generous donors, to help celebrate 150 Years of the Mankato Family YMCA, the YMCA Day of Giving promises to be an exciting event filled with fun food-themed incentives and enticing raffle prizes. The goal isn’t just about reaching a numerical target; it’s about coming together as a community to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who benefit from YMCA programs.

“We’re incredibly excited have our Second Annual YMCA Day of Giving,” said Andrew Burk, Executive Director of Mankato Family YMCA. “This event is a wonderful opportunity for our community to unite behind a common cause and demonstrate the power of collective generosity. Every donation, no matter the size, will directly support the impactful work we do here at the Y.”

Anyone that gives $10 or more on the YMCA Day of Giving will be entered to win one of the incredible raffle prizes that have been generously donated by Exclusively Diamonds, Radio Mankato, the Mankato Moondogs, and more. More information on these prizes and about the Day of Giving can be found on the YMCA Facebook page.
