EXAMPLES OF STORIES (summarized)
When a little girl named Janet attended her first YMCA swimming lesson, no one knew the skill would someday lead her to Olympic gold.
When a Y employee invited young Stephen to participate in Youth and Government, he didn’t know he was really launching the boy’s future career as one of America’s Supreme Court Justices.
And when a YMCA in Wales cast an artistic young boy named Anthony in their production of Othello, no one knew he would eventually win an Oscar, honorary knighthood, and a name as one of acting’s all-time greats.
YOUR STORY DOES NOT NEED TO BE THIS SIGNIFICANT! Your story can be simple, elaborate, short or long. There are no rules as to what is YOUR Y Story.
