The Y Difference

The YMCA Preschool fills a child’s day with opportunities to explore the wonders of their world, giving them experiences that help them grow and develop into confident, caring, happy individuals. As with any YMCA program, the preschool is grounded in the YMCA mission and program objectives. Our mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body.

Our Curriculum

Our preschool is designed with developmentally appropriate activities that stimulate a child’s intellectual, social, emotional and physical growth. The curriculum ensures children receive a learning experience while being engaged with the Y’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and faith. Children develop skills for Kindergarten readiness and a passion for learning.

A Distinctive Experience

The YMCA Preschool offers a distinctive Preschool/PreKindergarten learning experience in a fun, nurturing environment. Amenities such as the swimming pool, gyms, Kid’s Gym, The Busy Backyard: An outdoor play area/classroom, and state-of-the-art indoor classrooms provide additional enrichment experiences.
