Brother/Sister

BROTHER/SISTER PROGRAM Making a positive difference in the life of a kid who needs it. That's the role -- and reward -- of the Brother/Sister volunteer. The Brother/Sister program creates a unique bridge connecting caring adult mentors to youth. Mentors help youth increase their self-confidence, social and communication skills, positive behaviors and and help improve relationships at home, school and within the community. Helping pay for camp The YMCA is offering kids the opportunity to earn their way to camp. The 2012 coupon book will give kids a chance to earn the dollars to help pay for their camp experiences. To participate, kids and a parent must attend a fundraising meeting on Tuesday, March 20. That will also be an ideal time to register for a camp to make sure they secure a spot.

Locker services

Use of locker rooms is free to members, and each locker room has a shower and changing areas.

The YMCA offers you five locker room options:

Adult Men Only (18 yrs+)
Adult Women Only (18 yrs+)

Adult locker rooms are by key access. Pick up your keys when you check in at the front desk. Children are not allowed in the adult locker rooms.

General Women/Girls (All ages)
General Men/Boys (All ages)
Family (Co-ed, all ages)

General Locker Rooms are open and do not require a key.

It is recommended you bring your own lock to secure your personal belongings in the General and Family Locker Rooms. The YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen items. A limited number of locks are available at the Courtesy Desk.

Adult Towel/Kit Locker Service

Kit Lockers are small, individual lockers large enough to store items such as shampoo, lotion, hair dryers etc. Kit Lockers are popular for members who wish to store items on a long term basis. Adults may purchase towel and kit locker service in the Adult Only Locker Rooms for an additional $8 per month, per adult.

If you have not paid for towel service, you must bring your own towel.

The YMCA desk staff can easily arrange your membership to include towel and kit locker services. Just ask.
